Elon Musk Says He Will Support A Ron DeSantis 2024 Presidential Run
Twitter CEO Elon Musk said he would support Ron DeSantis if the Florida Governor chooses to run for president in 2024.
“ As a reminder, I was a significant supporter of the Obama-Biden presidency and (reluctantly) voted for Biden over Trump,” Musk tweeted Friday.
“But freedom of speech is the bedrock of a strong democracy and must take precedence,” he added. In response to @ProudElephantUS asking in the same thread Musk if he would support Ron DeSantis in 2024, Musk responded, “Yes.”
Former President Donald Trump officially launched his 2024 presidential campaign at Mar-a-Lago this month, making a third consecutive run for the White House.
“I am officially running for president of the United States, and we are going to make our country great again,” Trump said.
